Westlakes Fusion appoints Richard Askew as Managing Director

Chartered Accountant brings 21 years of experience to Cumbrian SME, Westlakes Fusion.

Umbrella payroll solutions business Westlakes Fusion have appointed Chartered Accountant and finance expert Richard Askew as their Managing Director.

As a former Partner of the accountancy firm Armstrong Watson, Richard brings over 21 years of finance and accountancy experience to the business.

Richard aims to support the company in exploring new ways in which they can add value for customers through their payroll solutions, powered by financial innovation.

Located on Cockermouth Main Street, Westlakes Fusion deliver payroll services to the UK nuclear market. The business supports contractors, agencies, and organisations within the nuclear supply chain, with a focus on long term relationships.

Richard said: “It’s a real pleasure to be joining Westlakes on their exciting journey of success. There is a great opportunity to deliver more of our fantastic solutions to the market through our laser focus on nuclear and deep sector knowledge.”

Richard will also provide financial leadership and executive management as the newly appointed Finance Director at the company’s sister business, Westlakes Recruit.
